Wenesday Con Wilma: Got To Have Moisturizer

Hola Mis Amores! Thank you for spending some of your Wednesday Conmigo! I have gotten a lot of products to review and talk about with you all. It has been hectic finding the time to do so; thank you for baring with me. This week we are going to talk moisturizer because friends I think I found that one  Holy Grail product for amazing moisture and skin prep for oily skin!

I have been in and out of my local Ulta all of February trying to find this moisturizer only to see that they didn’t have it in store. I would go online and just didn’t feel right paying for shipping for one item. (We all have been there!) So I allowed myself to pick up items I really needed and finally it was mines.

As a person with excessive oily skin I am very particular and at times, apprehensive trying new things because I have been in a routine that I feel really works for me. But my regular moisturizer ran out so what better time than that to try something new.

Finally my package arrives and I am ecstatic L’oreal Paris Hydra Genius Daily Liquid Care is mines!

Its two key ingredients are Aloe Water and Hyaluronic Acid. Aloe water has a cooling and refreshing feel and is great to  use for sunburns ; aloe Water is very soothing to the skin.

Hyaluronic Acid is a universal benefactor to all skin types and is commonly used  in most skin care products because of that. It’s also a youth boost agent giving the skin supple firmer qualities. The major key in this ingredient is its ability to replenish moisture in the skin.  This ingredient is fascinating, one gram (or 0.03 ounce) of hyaluronic acid can hold up to six liters of water. Wow!

The product comes in a very nice package, it’s in a glass bottle so you feel like you are getting that higher end department store skin care. It is very light weight and milky. When I used it I worked it into the skin and immediately felt like my skin was matted and still hydrated.  However I didn’t get too excited until I woke up the next day and felt very hydrated, I immediately touched my face in the morning and it felt smooth, hydrated and well taken care of. I used a little bit more of the product before doing my makeup that day I even forget to use primer since my skin was already matted.

This is a moisturizer I will be re- buying. It is a bit of a splurge I paid $17.99 I have seen it less expensive for about $13-$14 at Wal-Mart and Target (After I brought it *side eye*)

What I would love to see if  L’Oreal formulates a primer with it. I think they have something really amazing on their hands.
