Wednesday Con Wilma: Its Prime Time

Primer

Hola Amores!!  Wednesday Con Wilma is back and this week’s focus is priming our beautiful faces with Physician Formula’s Argan Wear 2-in- 1 Oil and Coconut Water Primer.

First things first, what is a primer and what benefits does it have? A primer is a cosmetic product that is placed on the face before putting on foundation and concealer. Primers come in all formulas: oil, cream, or powder base. The benefits of primers are that it smooths  out trouble areas like dry/oily skin, red/dark circles, or acne/blemishes. Primers have various conditioners depending on your target area to enhance the application of your make up. There are even primers for your eyelids to maximize the use of your eye-shadow.

Physician Formula’s Argan Wear 2-in- 1 Oil and Coconut Water Primer has been my go to primer lately because of its 2 key ingredients; Argan Oil And Coconut Water. Argan oil’s benefits are that it brightens and hydrates the skin smoothing out the texture and elasticity of it. Coconut water benefits the skin with hydration as well and controls oil giving the skin that beautiful over all glow.

Application: The Product has a spray nozzle , I spray the primer onto either my brush or Beauty Blender and apply in my T- zone area (Forehead and Nose) patting it into the skin. Then I continue to apply my concealer and foundation for a smooth and flawless look.

The product can be found at Ulta Beauty Stores, or directly online at www.physicansformula.com  The Primer retails for about $14.95
